The topic of sustainability has played a major role for us for a long time. We do not just talk about sustainability, we put our sustainability strategy into practice as well. We already invested in energy-efficient heat pump systems and optimally insulated logistics hubs 10 years ago.
We take our responsibility for the environment and for future generations seriously and we are not only proving this with our zero emission logistics hub in Switzerland, which we have opened in October 2020.
The use of 100% recyclable or biodegradable cardboard and filling materials are a matter of course for us. Wherever possible, we use resource-saving grass paper for printing delivery notes and invoices.
We are pioneers in the field of intelligent consolidation of shipments, which means that we reduce the use of packaging and unnecessary CO₂ emissions for transport to a minimum. In a pilot project with one of our clients, we are already examining the next step - sustainable shipping in reusable boxes.
