NextPharma Logistics has been operating the branch in Switzerland since 2003. In 2012, the first move took place due to gradual growth to Gossau (St. Gallen). Eight years later, in October 2020, the next move to the newly built logistics center in Schaffhausen followed.

Schaffhausen is located directly on the motorway, which means that Zurich Airport, for example, can be reached in around 40 minutes by car.

In order to be able to act even more flexible in the future, specially developed multi-order picking trolleys, a new picking technology (“put-to-light”) is used in addition to the proven “pick-by-light” method, with the. This technology has been used successfully in our logistics center in Werne (DE) since 2018.

By moving from Gossau to Schaffhausen, we were also able to expand our storage capacity by more than 70%.

In addition, the logistics center in Schaffhausen is “zero emission” certified. With the 4,300 PV modules and a yield of 830 MWh p. a. the location generates more energy than is actually needed.
